Scotty, big fan of the channel and what you do.
I've been looking to get my hands on a mk3 Toyota Supra. My question is should I get the cheaper option and build it up, or purchase a full rebuild instead? Both have turbo engines. Cheaper is from a dealer and full rebuild is from a private seller
Option one - $9k: 1987 Standard transmission with 126k miles, 7 owners.
Option two - $21k: 1989 Automatic Transmission, 31k miles, 2 owners. Engine and transmission rebuilt, new interior and paint.
