First off, I appreciate for what you do. Rare to find people like you. Now to my question 😃. I have an Acura MDX 2009 which has run about 214000kms and now there is a check emission light on and when checked with the code reader I got the error code as "P0420". I was told that the catalytic converter is not working properly. Now since the check emission light is on, I get the SH-AWD, ABS light on as well and my AWD does not seem to perform as it should as my wheels keep spining sometimes (which it used to not do before) when rolling the vehicle from a complete stop. Also when I see the display guage of SH-AWD, it shows only the front wheels is taking the g-force and not the back wheels. Does the Catalytic converter problem effect the AWD as well? (Btw...I'm from Edmonton, Canada)...😊
it can affect them indirectly be a software when the check engine light comes on it can turn those systems off it's a software thing with many japanese cars.now you might try my video how to fix a bad catalytic converter Scotty and try some cleaning solution because of that doesn't work that converters on those cars cost a small fortune
Thanks a lot. Yes, I did try the Dura Lube Severe Catalytic & Exhaust Treatment and it warning lights went off for 2 days and they were back again. I see that the warning lights go off when I turn off the vehicle for some time and then comes back when the vehicle jumps in any potholes.
