Did the dealer see me coming a mile away ? One oil change and now . Chevy Trax 2019 12k miles I took my car in for an oil change and the dealer said I was due for my fuel injection cleaning $80 for oil change and $200 for the fuel injection. The next day I’m getting a check engine light code P0299 and the Dealership says it’s unrelated to any of the prior days service. Oh by the way your air filter is dirty our coupon end at the end of the month. Did the Dealership just see a female sucker in a dress ? What can I do, I have an extended warranty and they have my car for 2 days with no rental replacement and no answers on how to fix my car !!!
Sounds like they pulled a fast one on you sounds like they could have caused a leak during that clean. I'd have someone else looked at it first

The dealer is trying and succeeding in ripping you off. Have it diagnosed by an independent mechanic first so you know what you're talking about if you have to take back to the dealer. A description of the code is below.
