Hi Scotty, as always great video info on YouTube. I have a 2010 Mercury Milan Premier 3.0. The check engine light came up, and then flickering beginning of summer... I was told code says misfire and change the coil and spark plugs. Car has over 192k miles. The hesitation symptoms were most apparent at acceleration. They completely disappear during the summer then appear again for now a month and half. I admit I've been running the car in the neighborhood as I was not moving much with the whole pandemic situation. About a week ago, the car would start but not as smoothly...Ordered the coil and sparks. This past Friday, car refused to start then no lights on Sunday. Is it the battery? What's the issue? Thanks in advance for helping to clarify this.
I tell you more than one problem but do recharge the battery or jump start it though I would wait until you got the parts because when coils go bad it can cause all kinds of problems even including no start though it would crank
Can you get the car scanned for codes & then post the codes here please?
Does the headlights turn on bright when you switch them on with the engine off? What about the horn, is it loud?
