Yesterday the check engine light + VSC light popped up on the dashboard of my 04 Toyota Highlander V6 4WD. What should I do?
Highlander has 168k miles in NYC. Two years ago I have changed timing belt / waterpump / coolant + battery + alternator and fan belt + tires. I change engine oil + oil filter once a year every 5k miles. Power steering pump needs to be replaced and drips. I just fill it up with power steering fluid every 2 weeks. Car runs and drives great without any issues here in NYC. My mechanic at the last inspection in May this year told me brake pads are still ok but are getting thin.
