chevy cruze 2012 ltz 1.4l 124k add on cam
hi i got this car in may for $6000 and it’ at 124k miles and is in very good shape. i had to get a car at the time and so i got these because honda and toyotas are going for double asking price right now. i live in fayetteville arkansas also so cars are posted a lot but my plan is to sell it for $7000 to $7500 while i find a honda or toyota that is 2008-2012 model since those are the most reliable. i was thinking of addding a back up camera for safety and didn’t know how hard it was to put in since it will be my first time doing so and i don’t wanna pay someone to do it for me. how much does honda and toyotas go for around those models before pandemic and do u also think i should wait for those prices instead of the market now. thank u
also i was wondering if the cruze was a good decision. i paid $6000 no sales tax on it so that’s all i have in it
Why bother with a back up camera when all you have to do is turn your head and look?
Unfortunately a lot of cars have really terrible vision to the rear. The idea of being able to see all 4 corners of the vehicle without electronic aids unfortunately seems to be a thing of the past.
Well you’re lucky you haven’t had any major grief with the Cruze. I’d get rid of it, but wouldn’t bother messing with a backup camera.
If you’re asking the price of equivalent Corollas/Civics pre-pandemic, it’s a moot point because the prices of all used cars have gone through the roof.
With that said, scour around your area for estate sales/distress sales of good condition Corollas & Civics.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH Doc! That's 20th. century thinking! Turn your head around and look! OMG!
And if you have no rear windows or other barriers? Rear facing cameras can record too. Useful for insurance and security purposes.
