Hello! i have a citroen xsara vts 2001 that i'm working on and the climate control only blows hot air, the air con does not work but the pipe that runs to the firewall is ice cold so its not an issue on the engine side, the heater does work a bit too well and it only recycles hot air no matter what i do, i'm guessing it would be the electrical control for the temperature but i have a feeling it may be something worse.
Inside your dashboard are plastic flaps that sent the air over the heater core to provide heat, and over the AC evaporator to provide cool air, and used to choose fresh or recirculated air. Either the flaps are stuck on hot air recirculated, or the switches/controls are malfunctioning.
If you get a parts diagram showing the flaps and ducts, you may be able to unstick the flap(s).
