Hey y’all. I got a 2014 Chevy Volt here with 117k miles. I noticed that every time I hold the brake and turn right I hear clunking noises when I am turning. It’s coming from the left side of the suspension. It’s not just one clunk either, it’s clunk clunk clunk clunk until I let go of the brake. It also seems like when I am turning left, I am slowly starting to hear clunking from the right side of the suspension. What could be the reason?
Have your suspension and drive axles checked for loose/worn parts.
You still need to have the suspension checked for loose parts. Could be anything from bad sway bar links to worn ball joints and anything in-between.
Where can I start? To check for loose parts.
All parts need to be checked including control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. Anything that's loose can make a clunking noise. If one side has worn parts chances are the other side does as well.

Jack up the vehicle and make sure they're tight. With your hands.
Since the clunking is rhythmic, I'm going to say it's a rotating part like a CV joint.
