Code P0326

I have a 2006 Saturn Ion with the 2.2 Ecotec engine. It is automatic with 208,000 miles. The check engine light is on with a P0326 code which is the knock sensor. I replaced the knock sensor and the code came back. It sputters at idle, drives normal otherwise. I am not sure if there has been a loss of power or acceleration, the code has been there since I bought it a month ago for 1200 as a beater. Have you had any experience with this code and how to fix it? I have read the ignition coil, ignition control modules, spark plugs, or fuel injectors could all be culprits.

Well if you got an oem knock sensor don't use a cheap Chinese one then the OEM sensor would be usually not the. It could be a wiring problem to the knock sensor it could be a problem in the driver circuit of the sensor inside the main computer or of course it could be failure in many things like timing chain stretched making the engine knock bad injectors coils all kinds of things. So I would check the wiring first but knowing those things with that kind of mileage odds are the timing is probably all worn

Thank you. I will check those things out.
