Coolant change

I have a 2015 Kia Optima 2.4 theta. I know not a good engine. Anyway now at 7 years old and 51200 miles got to change coolant. Been putting it off cause local Kia service is awful and don’t trust them so been doing all my own maintenance since new. I’m worried about changing the coolant and properly bleeding out the air don’t want to harm or ruin the engine is there any certain steps other than just filling while idling as its bubbling down or is there something specific or specific steps to keep out air pockets and causing any harm or damage?

I would go to ebay or amazon and get one of those special coolant change funnels with the fittings to properly bleed all the air out of the system.

Apart from Scotty Kilmer I found this guy does a good video on coolant change: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9lrrqZFxPg Somebody else might be able to verify this but you might want to think about silicone hoses to replace the old ones. As they break down over time.

It's on my to do list with a 16 year old car.
