Bubbles in coolant reservoir

Hi Scottie, I have this corolla 2009 XRS 2.4 liters manual trans. that is having issues with coolant backflow to the reservoir. Let me tell you everything I have done already. I started replacing the radiator cap, then I replaced the thermostat, then I tried to burp the radiator but even after 45 min to an hour I still see bubbles, after that I replaced the water pump and tried burp again but Im still having bubbles on the funnel, then I performed the combustion test checking for leaks on the head gasket and came out (-), I also inspected the oil cap and stick for signs of coolant in the oil but don't see any. After that I ended up replacing the radiator and leaving it open with the burp funnel have full and the car lifted as high as I can over night and I still have backflow. Is there anything that I been missing or do you have any advise that you can give me on this.Thanks.

Dave.

Could please elaborate what exactly you mean by "backflow"?
The level in the coolant reservoir is supposed to rise when you drive your car.

Yeah but it should go back to the radiotor not keep filling the reservoir and start to spill the coolant from the reservoir bleeder hose.

When you burp the system for air, open your heater selector valve to HIGH to get out the air trapped in the heater core.

I did that. Thanks

@tekdavi - You still have air in the system, unless a test kit shows exhaust gases.  How long did you do the air bleed procedure?
