[Solved] Correct socket for wheel lug nuts

Hi Scotty and friends, got a Toyota Camry 2020, mileage ~45K. I got a torque wrench to do my own tire rotations but haven’t got the  socket yet. A Google search shows that Toyotas use 12.5 mm x 1.5 lug nuts but i can’t find what size socket to get. Also, searching suggests the torque is anywhere between 70 and 80 ft-lbs but not sure about that and the manual doesn’t seem to specify it either.

Usually, Toyota uses a 21mm socket on it's lug nuts.  Closest SAE is 13/16".  Use a 6 point socket, not a 12 point.  80 ftlbs is fine.

Got it, thanks.

They seem to be deleting them more and more these days, but check if you have a spare tire and tire iron. The tire iron should say what size the socket is.

Oh ok, thanks, think I do have it.
