Hey scotty I recently had my tacoma stolen my last trip to Houston. I am now in the hole buying another one. I'm adding a fair amount of security but I wanted your option on this OBD alarm system.

They claim it will be powered by the original unit, but if someone trys to access it they get a really annoying alarm till someone presses the kill switch.

And while I have you if this product works could I also wire it into my cars alarm system as well? I want the whole neighborhood to know if someone touches my new tacoma.

It's a neat idea. I like the decoy obd port.
I personally wouldn't touch the factory system and leave this thing as a standalone unit, but the best defense is a good insurance policy.
Any idea how they defeated the factory immobilizer on your Tacoma?
