Saw an honda accord 2005 2.4 400k kms( canada) 2005 for sale for really cheap, the person said it has bad crankshaft sensor, it idles just a little rough, lot better than I saw videos online, started with a little hesitation, accelerated slow, but transmission shifts were smooth and cars had all the features, the owner said it ran like crap and had engine light because of the sensor, should I go forward and take a scan tool tomorrow to take a look, what should I look for in live data to know that the engine isnt damage, I love how accords handle nd really need a car right now, should I put the money in it, please guide me {black}:excitement:

Sounds like what you need is really dependable transportation.
You didn’t mention the price, but if it was ‘just’ a bad crankshaft position sensor, you’d think the present owner would’ve fixed it??
I would recommend you keep looking at other Accords which are running fine (and maybe with lesser mileage).
Thanku that really helped, that car had all kind of problems, got an acura tl 04 instead, it is going great, just drinks more gas.
Congratulations and all the best!
