I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, V6, Automatic, 269000 miles on it, when going down the road I want to relax my foot, and I turn on my cruise control it comes on and goes right back off. What can be the problem?

Check the simple stuff first - make sure your brake light switch is operating correctly. (Or if your cruise control system has a separate switch to detect braking, check that.) If it has a vacuum-operated servo make sure the vacuum lines are OK.

Ok I replace my brake light switch about year ago and my vacuum lines are ok...
