[Solved] How to take care of your Cruise Control

Topic starter

I have a 2018 Mazda 6 Touring (which is to say, naturally-aspirated SkyActiv-G) with 58K on it. Automatic transmission.

It runs fine, I have no issues and I want to know, is there something I should do to make sure the Cruise Control continues to work well?

No, it's all electronic . There's no added moving parts.

Just use it according to the instructions in your owners manual.

Don't use it.  You are supposed to be driving.  You're not a passenger, you're the driver, not a bag of groceries.

Thanks for your interest in my question.

I understand the "operate your own vehicle" stance, however, I am "all legs" and unlike a bag of groceries, my driving leg can tense up during long drives, so I welcome its inclusion on my car. The Mazda6 is one of the few cars in which I can stretch my legs. Over the years and car shows, I find I cannot fit in: Hondas, most SUVs and even Nissan Maximas are cramped for me. Volkswagens, the Chevy Volt, the Kia Forte and, some time ago, the Daihatsu Charade I fit in well.
