i have a '09 chevy aveo5 100k miles auto trans. that needs an engine (1.6 liter). I want to swap to swap the eng & trans from a 2012 chevy cruze. It is a 1.8 liter & six speed auto transaxle. Is this a feasable swap? (I am a master mech-40 plus years). from what I have read, the transaxle & engine will physically bolt up. I can access the entire car & parts. Will this swap without too much trouble?Thank you for your knowledge & advice,

Well physically you could probably get the thing in. The problem is the software is different for both engines. I have no idea what would happen to the ECM software and it might even have different sensors. It wouldn't even plug into the wiring harness
