Dash Noise Issue

Hello,

I have this annoying dash noise issue which i'm quite sure related to the recirc button.
What happens is when the AC is on/recirc is on, and set to 0, car is turned off. After i crank the car on again the noise may be present and having this weird ticking/repeating noise even though the fan is set to 0.
If i rev up the engine while this happening, the noise is typically louder with revs.
If i flip up the AC/and fans to 3/4 a few times and back to 0, the noise may go away entirely.

What is the issue?

Well either you're blend door actuator is going bad or the plastic arms or the plastic door is sticking all that stuff is cheaply made when they age man you got to tell the whole dash apart to get to that stuff personally I'd love it

I'll make the service manager listen to this and ask them if they will warranty the sucker, Thank you! I have 1 month of bumper-bumper left. You know the problem Scotty, you complain, but its only intermittent and happens when it's not at the shop. I started watching the videos ever since someone shared your review on the TDI Golf Sportswagen

Have you changed out your cabin filter lately?

Yes, at least according to the records when i purchased the car from the dealer @ 71,000 km. The noise was present then, but they couldn't figure it out. I just drove it since and now it's more frequent. Now i'm at 116,000km and at least have a direction here. Before they thought it was an idler or something like that from either timing/serpentine, but they could never duplicate. Ever since I've been playing around with the AC/Controls I have something now to go on!
