Hi Scotty
After recently filling up my 2022 Genisis G70, with diesel fuel,Β due to the gas delivery being put in the Vitro93, my cars been at the dealer for two months now waiting on new parts. Once it's finally fixed, will I or can I have future problems?
Thank you
If you ran a gasoline engine with diesel fuel in the tank it would ruin the fuel system and potentially could have caused engine damage, though if you had a high enough concentration of diesel fuel the engine would not run on it. If you didn't start the engine you should be OK after the fuel system is cleaned out.

My son has the opposite problem with his diesel Cayenne. Gas station attendants freak out when they see him pumping diesel fuel into his Porscheβ¦ 😁
The actual engine probably won't be damaged. Everything fuel-related could be. Diesel engines have a compression ratio that's 1.5-2x that of a gasoline engine. Spark plugs don't get hot enough to ignite diesel, it's a compression-ignition fuel, not spark-ignition like gasoline. Your fuel system isn't designed to handle diesel. It's thicker than kerosene and more resistant to flowing. That is where your biggest danger lies. Get the entire fuel system purged.
