Scotty -

I just got a 2013 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 5.7L with 109k miles - automatic. It had a “Flowmaster” Delta Force Cold Air Intake installed when I bought the car and now I have replace it for CARB regulations and put back the OEM air filter and housing assembly, is this something I can do myself without having to “tune” the car or do I have to seek a professional to do the installation?

If you change the airbox back, you will need to retune it as the MAF sensor diameter will change.

Negligible. Just an intake isn't going to shorten the life span much at all.

Thanks @mod_man I will seek a professional. One more inquiry - what is the risk of cutting my engine life short if I continue to use the CAI when the engine approaches 200k+ miles?
