2020 Honda Civic LX Sedan, 5000 miles, CVT
After I am done using the floor jack, do I store the floor jack with the handle turned all the way counter-clockwise with the valve open, or clockwise with the valve closed? The Harbor Freight manual doesn't specify. Thanks!
I leave the valve open but only because when I put the jack away I've invariably just let the car down. Otherwise I've never thought about it and doubt it makes any difference.
I've never given it a thought until now. I don't see why it would matter.
I do open. For one, that is how it is when I last use it. For another, I think of it like a torque wrench, just leave it open all the way for storage.
