Dodge Ram 2014 5.7 hemi Tradesmen , 212k, 6 speed, doesn't shut off unless i pull ECU fuse , also in Limp mode 4th gear only when in drive where do i start????

so i just need a running work truck i purchased for 1700.00 knowing of the issues but body is mint, interior in nice, engine runs nice assumed just needed trans work. but with all the electrical issues i think its something else. Also Dash Lights stay on unless i disconnect the battery.

Codes p0032, p0038, p0058, p0222, p0123, p0073, p0462,

I changed both the throttle body sensor and peddle sensor but no change in codes. Has a Brand New Battery that came in it. I could junk for 1200? sell for parts and make more over time? But id really like to have a running truck being that i run a lawn service and my other vehicle I'm forced to tow with atm is my VW Atlas vr6 4motion.

Where do i start??

Start by finding out what your codes are trying to tell you. (and post the code definitions here)

try obd-codes.com and try the service manual for your truck (charm.li)

for a work truck , I would rather have one that's a bit dinged up, but doesn't have issues.

well if you watch Scotty for any amount of time, you know he always always tells people not to assume. Get vehicles checked out by a good mechanic before purchase. An inspection is a hundred bucks. "trans work" can easily end up costing you $8k

Throwing parts at a problem will just waste your money. You need to follow troubleshooting procedures, which you can find in many places on the internet, or with a service manual.
