I have 2005 Nissan Titan with a salvage title. 113700 miles, 4x4 automatic. It is two trucks put together after a wreck. The dash shows a vin for a 2005 (title does too). The drivers door and passenger floor pan a 2006 vin. There are recalls for the 2006 vin, but the dealer says “no manufacturer will fix a salvaged titled vehicle”. NHTSA says that they must.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “vehicles with salvaged titles are not excluded from recall campaigns.” However, there may be cases where the safety recall is quote “not applicable to the salvaged vehicle and the manufacturer would not have an obligation to remedy the vehicle.”
