My 2007 tundra, 157000 miles, has engine noise. Sounds like valve noise maybe, but toyota said the 5.7 liter has normal piston scuffing noise. Runs good, gets 21mpg on highway, doesnt burn oil. Made this noise since i bought it. What do you think?

If thats what the dealer said I'm not sure theres much that can be done. Might be worth calling a independent mechanic that only works on Toyotas and see if they have any cheeky solutions but I mean engines are noisy things all engines make some noise so might just be the way it was made
