I mostly see ads for a foot peg that slides onto the door catch so you can access your roof for whatever reason, but recently saw a product applied the same way, but as an aid to be used by hand to help elderly or disabled or injured people get out of the car. Obviously if you weigh a lot (above 200 lb I suppose) the foot peg could very well cause damage to the car. But is the other use not much to worry about?
