2008 Ford F150 FX4 Flareside
My brother changed the door on his truck because of a minor accident. He changed the door and worked a few times and than stopped opening. How can we open the door? We tried unbolting the hinge side and wiggled the door and nothin.
probably the latch/lock linkage rods inside the door came loose. You have to remove the door panels make sure it's all good inside.
This is likely the case. Will be a pain to pop the panel with the door shut, but just be careful.
We can't fully get the panel out the way without breaking it. We hsve it open enough to get your hands in. The exterior handle does seem to feel slightly harder when unlocking, but you can't fully feel the unhinging of the latch towards the end of the handle travel

Have you tried spraying some WD-40 on the hinge? It may just need lubricant.
Sorry, the door is stuck on the latch side. We tried to wiggle the door to see if the door would somehow unlatch, haha I know
