DRB Scan Tool?

1995 Dodge 2500 Pickup 4X4 5.9 Turbo Diesel, Automatic transmission, 299,808 miles.

The ABS light is on the lower dashboard (not in the speedometer cluster) along with emergency break light (when the emergency break is Off)

I have a Dodge Motor Manual from Dodge year specific, says I need a DBE Scan Tool in order to check the ABS system out.

My QUESTION; Are any of the blue tooth testers you recommend able to do DBE testing and do they have the right connector needed.

The Manuel says; "ABS DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTOR (6-way). Under dash drivers side by right knee, which I have located.

Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

Thank You

In 1996, the OBD-II specification was made mandatory for all cars sold in the United States.  Since your vehicle is a 1995 MY, the ODBII scanners we’ve been recommending would not work.  You would need an ODB I-compatible tool.  I’d have to research what is available for you.

Sorry to take so long to reply, had company. I had never herd of DRB Scan Tool. What I have been able to find is that DRB could be model specific, even with in a car brand.

Found an adapter on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Goliton-Diagnostic-Scanner-Convertor-Compatible/dp/B07T1G5JB6/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=obd1+scanner&qid=1612561532&sr=8-8

12 pin ODB1 to 16 pin ODB2 But the connector on my truck is 6-pin square.
