Hi Scotty,

I've been glued to your channel since May and watch it every day. I should have listened to you.

Two weeks ago I traded in my leased 2019 Subaru WRX with 11K miles on it for a 2018 F-150 XLT Supercrew Cab 2.7L Ecoboost 2 wheel drive with 22K miles on it from an authorized dealer. As you know this used car market is lunacy and found myself with $7K of equity in my leased Subaru 2 years into a 3 year lease.

I ended up trading in my Subaru  for this Ford (sold for $36K) because I've been watching IIHS crash safety videos and wanted a larger safer vehicle. I also figured a truck would hold it's value better than the crazy resale value my WRX is quoted at right now (above sticker price).

After 6 days of driving the truck sparingly, I found myself hearing a moaning noise from the front left side of the vehicle as I gave the truck 40% throttle onto the highway (slight incline). The truck was in eco mode if that makes any difference. The service engine light came on simultaneously, but the car drove fine just felt a bit underboosted.

The next day I start the vehicle and the service light was off, but I took it in anyways to get checked out. The dealership called me and told me there was a an "underboost code." They started with replacing the blow off valve. I waited 4 days for a blow off valve to be delivered and when they installed it they said the code still came on.

Here I am two weeks into ownership, and I've been driving a loaner more than the truck I purchased.

I watched one of your videos on ecoboosts but you didn't mention clearly what you did to diagnose the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnMct0xjPoQ

Thanks Scotty. Live free my friend.
