I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 2.4 liter ecotec with 157,000 miles no codes it’s in great shape. a couple months ago my sister drove my car with the parking brake on but for only 5 minutes. She said it felt very sluggish and she smelled a burning smell. She realized after but everything still seems fine. Brakes still work good but was there damage done?

5 minutes of steady driving with the parking brake engaged, yeah they heated up enough to be damaged. The 'burning smell' was the brakes.
Probably not. I've driven around with my parking brake on for a few minutes by accident. You may have warped your back rotors, if it has them, and your brakes took a beating, you might need to replace them because you glazed them, but that's about it. Don't do it again. Haha.
I definitely won’t let that happen again haha. it was my sister and she knows now
