- Scotty what do you think of the Ford engine 2005 Duratec HE 1.8 engine?
- This engine sits in Fords, Volvo's but also Mazda's.
- How much miles does this engine get with good care ?

Just a good engine taking off the last 2 to 300,000 mi realize it's a Mazda engine Ford didn't design it Mazda did

@jonathanthecarguy yep, Scotty is as always correct.
Great engine, too bad it was paired with pretty awful automatics. From Volvo’s MPS6 to Ford’s DPS6 to the mediocre Mazda automatics, just get a manuals, the automatics don’t seem to last.
Ive got a Volvo S40 with this engine and its a manual with about 105.000 miles.
So i'm glad to hear that my car with good care Will last a long time!
