Hello, I have an automatic 2012 Dodge Avenger SE with 183,000 miles on it. I just had the TIPM replaced because the horn was going off randomly. The horn is no longer going off after the TIPM was replaced but as soon as I drove it off the lot from my mechanic I noticed that the speedometer was not working. I turned the car off and then back on which resulted in the speedometer working normally but the electronic stability control light came on and has remained on as a steady light ever since. No other issues that I have noticed. (I will call the mechanic back tomorrow and let him know as well, but want to run it by you guys to get your thoughts).

Well I assume the guy screwed something up when you did the work. It didn't happen before. Our odds are very slim that it broke while he was driving the car. All those systems are tied into wheel speed sensors and all kinds of wiring and if you mess something up it can feedback and shut those other systems off
Okay, thank you for the response, I will just have to follow up with the mechanic.
