Engine knock

Hello Scotty,

I am in need of help. I have a 2015 chevy cruze 1.4 LTR with 92,000mi(automatic) and about 3 weeks ago I started to hear an unusual ticking sound coming from the engine as well as poor fuel economy and gaseous scent coming from my vents. After a week the CEL came on so I scanned the code at a parts store and had a code related to the knock sensor failing/low fuel pressure causing engine knock(sorry I don't remember the code number). I replaced the sensor and the light came back on. I figured maybe the sparkplugs were due to be replaced, so I did and that was fine until the light came back on. I did notice this spring was really loose in cylinder 2 on my coil pack and black carbon was around the rubber. Would a faulty coil pack cause engine knock? What do you recommend I do.

Thanks in advance, Luis

When CEL comes back on - what are the code(s)? Please post.

Hi the codes are p0324 and p0325

more often on those it's the failure of the high pressure fuel pump if you lose pressure it will cost all kinds of problems like that have that tested first
