I got a used 2013 Toyota Corolla with over 250k km (199k when I got it).
About every month or two, depending on how much I drive, the engine light comes on as well as TRAC OFF.
When this first happened I was told to pour in fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank and fill it up with gas, and then it usually goes away.
I've been doing that every time it comes up, but it's getting tiring and I wonder if it is really necessary.
I don't want to have to keep doing this whenever it comes on, do I have to keep doing it, or will the engine break if I don't do it?
We don't have emission regulations in Ontario anymore.
