As a loyal viewer of your You Tube videos, I can’t help to notice that just about every manufacturer is having engine reliability issues, most recently Toyota.
As I am now retired, I want to get my last new vehicle. Ford, GM, Stellantis, Hyundai/Kia,Subaru and now Honda and Toyota all have engine issues. Nissan has bad transmissions. European cars are money pits.
All that remains is Mazda. They seem to be the last manufacturer with quality.
Am I perceiving this correctly? I don’t want to spend retirement sitting at a dealer…
Thanks In Advance
When a car maker comes out with a new engine, that is when it will most likely have problems, even Toyota and Honda.
Look for cars with "older" engines. When I say older, I mean engines that have been out for a long time, where they have the problems figured out and resolved.
Even when choosing cars with older engines, I would still consider Toyota and Honda first.
Thank You
