EVAP leak on 2013 MAZDA 3 GS/SKY

Hey Scotty, I have a 2013 Mazda 3 GS/SKY with 150,000 miles that has the check engine light on. Code is P0442 small EVAP leak. However, I cant find any leaks in the fuel system and the purge valve and gas cap are fine. I recently found a leak in my exhaust on the resonator. Could this be the issue?

No. A leaky exhaust won't cause that.

If a small leak in the EVAP system is hard to find then you may have to get it smoke tested to see where the leak is

@jack62 I just had a smoke test done and was told there was no leak. Purge valve was swapped as well.

If you're sure there's no leak then that just leaves a faulty fuel tank pressure sensor

@jack62 thanks for your help, ill check that out
