Excuse me im new here and im not from the States. I'm from South East Asia and here we love our Diesel powered Mitsubishi pickup trucks.
Im currently driving a Mitsubishi diesel pickup truck powered with 4D56 Astron engine. Natural aspirated, timing belts with interference architecture and analog injection pump. No ECM or whatsoever. Just plain analog Reliable workhorse.
My question is,
i have changed the radiator with a brand new one. The original radiator was plastic head top bottom and the replacement is brass copper factory mass produced locally. The reservoir still losing coolant. Although the head gasket and other parameters are still in order. Brand new Water Pump and Thermostat along with brand new 3 radiator hoses including new reservoir. Oh and a brand new coolant temperature switch OEM kind.
The vehicle still losing coolant mysteriously and on top of that when i drove at the highway for 99miler per hour, it lost all the coolant completely inside the reservoir.
To add up, i did try using Wynn's Radiator stop leak but steal losing massive amount of fluids.
please help me im really cornered and i love my truck very much
thank you and god bless
Well there's no magic with car repair. First have the system pressure test. Then you'll see if there is a leak in the system. Has the pressure will go down and you will see where it's dripping out. Now if a pressure test shows no leaks then the only other way you can lose it is burning inside the engine from either an intake manifold leak or a head gasket leak that's internal which is burning the coolant
