Hi there. Now I've been watching Scotty's channel for some time and I know how he hates Fiat Chrysler companies. But in all his videos he didn't mention Jeeps made for Europe market. I'm talking about diesel engines primarily.
I've been driving Fiat Doblo( small pickup/delivery vehicle) for years now. It has three different diesel engines, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.9 mjet. The last two are amazing. One of the best diesel engines i drove in all my years with driver's license. Now they have started putting those mjet engines in Jeeps. They have 2.0 and 2.4 mjet versions if I'm not mistaken.
What do you think about it? I'm not mechanic. I'm cable guy so I would like to hear some pro opinions.
Well Scotty lives in the USA, not Europe. He's been working mostly on N.American sold vehicles, because that is what people bring to him. He can't talk about cars that he hasn't seen.
We have a couple of Euro members here, so maybe they can weigh in. I personally wouldn't trust anything Italian designed. Good artists/musicians/cooks. Poor builders.
For those who don’t know, these Fiat Multi Jet engines are designed by various OEMs.. (you’ll be surprised to know who all) -

They can be okay, but are more focussed towards fuel efficiency.
