First time driver of AT - whine on acceleration

Hey there Scotty,

I was recently willed a 2010 Toyota Camry 2AR-FE with 36,734 miles with automatic transmission from my Grandpa who bought it new in 2010. He took good care of the car and it was a garage kept southern car. Everything except the stupid TPMS is working right, but i can live with that. I'm writing because sometimes when accelerating from a stop I hear a faint to moderate whine from the front end.

I've changed the oil and filter, had a front end alignment and new tires put on. Battery, and Alternator checked out as perfect at Auto Zone. Hooked it up to my Blue Driver scan tool and there are no codes and live data reads as okay. Any idea what the issue might be? I've never owned an automatic before and I'm not sure if a little whine noise is normal or not. Should I do any other maintenance soon, just due to the age? Thanks in advance.

As for your TPMS, you can buy one off amazon for like $30 that just screw onto the valve stems.

I have used two different ones and they both work better than the original tpms that only shows when a tire is low, but doesn't say which, or what the tire pressure is.

One of the best and cheapest upgrades I have ever put on a car.

Does it only happen while moving?  Nothing while revving the engine in 'P'?
