Are cars with flex-fuel engines good and is it cheaper to use e85 vs normal gas in a flex-fuel car?

What are some good flex-fuel cars that are reliable?

They are more complex. More things to go wrong. Don't buy one unless you absolutely need to use E85 gas

What if I just wanna pay less money for gas? Also isn't a tundra technically flex fuel too?

how much money will you save over a year by buying E85?

I'm not sure but ik that e85 is cheaper and the thing for me is I really wanna buy a truck but I don't want to have to spend that much on gas

cheaper by how much?
$10 ?
$100 ?
$1,000 ?

Well at my gas station regular is about 3.20 right now and e85 is about 2.30

So do the basic arithmetic. Everyone has access to a calculator if you need one.

That's a difference of 90 cents per gallon.
If you car consumes 20 mpg and you drive 10,000 miles per year then that's 500 gallons or $450 dollars.

Do you think that's worth it?

I paid almost $700 to diagnose, replace, and reprogram a computer module. A Ford would have been twice as much, and possibly a year wait for the part.
