Hey guys we have a 2012 F-150 XLT v8 with 180k and about 10k miles ago the fan started only working on 0 and 4 speeds. I am pretty sure it is the blower motor resistor but I just wanted to check before we spend the money and the hour putting it in.

yes it's the resistors, and usually the highest speed is controlled by a relay.
