My Dad whants to get a ford raptor we have a 2016 toyota tundra limited with about 65 thosund miles what do you think should we get a Ford Raptor or keep the Toyota Tundra

@ford-raptor-fan
The v8 ford raptor is a great truck but the tundra will last a heck of a lot longer. If you want better off road capabilities the raptor will work ok but a few suspension modifications to the tundra it can do the same. So I would recommend keeping the tundra

my dad has a 4runner 2007 we bot it and it only has 110,000 miles dumb right {black}

@ford-raptor-fan
Look man, the Raptor is good in the short run, but how long will it last?

Keep the Tundra 100%! Like @mod_man said above, its not even broken in yet haha!

I always loved the "idea" of Ford and saw myself getting a F150 one day. After driving a bunch of different Fords (F150 included) i've never found a single one where i actually liked the way they drive. Idk if its the autotransmissions or what, but theyve always been wirey and not smooth to me. Im also in no way an expert in any of this lol

I've had a Scion tC for 12 years and this year picked up a 2017 tacoma. I'd say stick with the Tundra, just my two cents. Hope you enjoy what you choose none the less!

@scottyshandsfan
ok i will axept your opinion a will take it as a idea

@scottyshandsfan
yeah but the tundra has probs all ready with 65,000

If you want to really take the car off road a lot get the raptor. But I do recommend keeping the tundra. It will last a long time.

Keep the Tundra! Ford quality is terrible!

Unless you are doing some seriously hardcore offroading, the Raptor is a waste anyway. But the older V8's were gas hogs and the new ones with EcoBoosts have issues.

The Tundra isn't even broken in at that mileage.

@mod_man
i and google isnt on your side but thank you for the opinion

@mod_man
can i tell you somthing my dad had a problem and it only has 65 thousind miles

After a year long lawsuit against Ford over my F150, I have nothing good to say about a company that does not stand behind their product. And I can say that because that's exactly what the judge told them the day I won my suit. I don't need Google to tell me about Raptor problems. I pull them apart and put them back together all the time at my shop. But with a handle of "Ford Raptor Fan", you wouldn't be biased at all, would you? The Tundra is a FAR, FAR superior truck when it comes to quality. There is no arguing that. If you had problems with the Tundra, that sucks. Any brand, any model can have problems. But the Raptor has far more issues than the Tundra when it comes to the big picture. You had a bad experience and it swayed your opinion. Happens with people all the time. I'm in a position where I get to see all kinds of makes and models every day. And my experience is Raptors break a lot and are costly to repair. Now, look at Google (since you go off that for everything apparently) and see how many forum threads there are on Raptor problems. I'll save you the trouble. https://www.raptorforumz.com/threads/2018-raptor-issues.29335/

@mod_man those people on the link arebiast

Why are you here? You had your mind made up the Raptor was better before you posted. You asked a question. People gave you their thoughts. And you tell me "No, you're wrong." So I provide you with a link to a RAPTOR OWNER'S FORUM and you tell me they are biased. Tell you what....buy the Raptor. It is awesome. You in the Houston area? Maybe I'll see you when it falls apart, which it will. You should not have asked a question if you were not open to opinions that differ from yours. We can't help you and I'm done trying.
