What is everyone’s opinion on the Ford Transit Connect? I have heard mixed reviews on them reliability wise. Thanks
New ones are rebadged VW caddies and they're too new to know.
Older ones, it depends heavily on what powertrain you choose.
For example a 2nd gen with a DuraTech 25 and a 6F35 automatic is delightful, the rest not so much.
It's really not that bad, just a Focus with a different powertrain and a slightly different body.
By newer ones do you mean 2014 and up?
By "Older ones" I mean: European 2012-2022, American 2014-current.
By "Newer ones" I mean: European 2020-current (overlap), American ????-???? (has not arrived yet)
Mainly focusing on the 2nd generation (which is 2014-present for the US), which is what we have here in the US. The new third gen (which is the 4th gen Caddy) is only available in Europe at this moment.
