2008 jeep liberty, recently i started having a binding / scraping noise coming from what seems to be the driver side front end, it sounds nothing like what i know wheel bearings / cv joints can sound like and im at a loss as to what it might be.
2008 jeep liberty, recently i started having a binding / scraping noise coming from what seems to be the driver side front end, it sounds nothing like what i know wheel bearings / cv joints can sound like and im at a loss as to what it might be.
Jack up the car and put it on jack stands. inspect the CV axles. If the boot on the axle is cracked or broken, replace it. If those CV axles are original, it's well past time for them to be changed.
check your bearings. It's easy enough.
While you're down there you can check your control arms, bushings, suspension, etc.
