Front Tire Tread is Uneven

Hey Scotty,

I have a 2013 chevy sonic LT sedan automatic with 124k miles on it. Recently, I had the sway bar and front control arms replaced at 120k miles. I recently noticed that the tire tread on the front tires has been disappearing unevenly since the sides of the front tires are more used up than the middle. All four tires were replaced in 2018 with brand new Michelins, and the uneven tread was not inspected on the rear left and right tires. After noticing the uneven tread, I got my tires rotated and wheels rebalanced in order to help relieve the issue. After doing some more research, I found out that worn ball joints can cause this issue. Therefore, I checked the ball joints and noticed that one of them is ripped from the boot (pictures below). Is this something I can drive on, and are there any temporary remedies I can perform for the ball joints (for example spraying it with wd-40 or some kind of lubricant)? Also, if I continue driving, will it worsen my tire tread more (picture of tire tread below)?

I appreciate any advice this forum offers, thank you.

The first picture is the left-front tire ball joint, the second picture is the right-front tire ball joint.
