2014 LEXUS GX460

Fuel PUMP replaced under recall at 60K miles.  Now at 69K miles.  Isn't the fuel FILTER a part of the NEW pump assembly?  Do I have to replace the fuel FILTER?  If so, how often?  I am not having any problems with my SUV.  Thanks! 😀

Well normally the filters part of the assembly ask the Toyota dealer if both were changed to whether they took the whole thing apart and just replace the motor assembly

I hope the lazy you-know-whats replaced the whole unit. I'll NEVER get the truth about what they did or didn't do.... Oh well.... 🙁

For this model, the filter is part of the pump assembly.  Stupid design.  What did they charge you for the part?  It costs about $150 on Rock Auto for the complete assembly, including the filter.

I hope the lazy you-know-whats replaced the whole unit, instead of breaking it down into components.  I'll NEVER get a straight answer, so I guess that is that....... :beg:   How would I know the difference??  You taught me to be pretty good at DIY, but JEEZ...... 🙁

Are there part numbers on your receipt?
There are dealers who sell Lexus parts online. You can look up the numbers and see what is included.
