I have a buck lacrosse 2006 3.8 engine
180,548 miles
I have replace coils, used engine and transmission, new catyastic converter and I'm still putting gas in the tank more then twice a day. Why is this happening. I have a friend drove 3 hour drive to vegas road around came back to la still had enough gas but if this was me iwould have to get gas every 40 exits

Is the gas leaking out somewhere? (I'm serious.) If you were burning that much the spark plugs would be black with soot, the catalytic converter would melt down, and the car would be trailing black smoke behind it everywhere. Any codes? Do you have access to a Tech2 scanner to get vehicle-specific data?
