If my ignition switch went bad, it failed while driving and tried starting a lot while in traffic till finally got it
stated just enough to clear traffic then nothing else from it.
Since then I replaced ignition switch and crankshaft sensor but car won’t start, was told computer needs reprogramming, did that still no start, there is no spark so we thought it was the anti theft preventing but now the anti theft indicator gone. Car still won’t start. I am lost. Can you point me in a direction to go?

The car is a GMC Acadia 2007 made in Canada

Well I am assuming you're dealing with mechanics that don't know their stuff because if you do change ignition parts yes it has to be reprogrammed to accept the key and the new ignition part or if you got new keys the new keys to the computer system and any mechanic worth their assault will know what to do if that doesn't work. So start with a new mechanic one who actually knows what he's doing on GM's

Hey Scotty

The car is at a GM dealership, they did the reprogramming but still no start. They are going to do diagnostic to see if something else is wrong. I am afraid of the cost should I have them do any repair cause they are a rip off but it’s hard to find good mechanics to trust her in Alberta Canada so I am waiting to hear what they found. Thanks for your reply
