Durango will not recognize there's a key in the car scanned and no codes the RFH recognizes there's a key but not in the car and it locks and unlocks car. Even when pushing the start bottom with the key will not turn ignition on just keeps saying no key present. The only thing I found not working was the brake switch but that would not cause the ignition to turn on to the acc position right? So no Codes  I actually deleted all keys and program them back to the rfh module which it recognizes the key and works but the cars ignition will not turn on to any position when the bottom is pushed the ecu recognizes the bottom as being pushed according to live data but nothing happens. Anyone has any suggestions for me thank you.

Ok thank you so much for your answers. I'm waiting on the brake switch to replace. I'll post back after I swap it out and confirm my brake lights light up and key can start the car. Thanks again

Of course it would. The brake switch has been a safety interlock in cars for decades.

Yes.

yes but would that cause the ignition not to even turn on? Like no lights in dash. And a message saying no key detected. Push start bottom and nothing just dash lights blinks and goes off.  Thank you for any other information anybody can give.

Then either the key or receiver doesn’t work. You’ll have to get it serviced

Yes just what I thought. Replaced brake switch and same thing key not detected. Can't even start the car with the key pushing the bottom like the manual says. Thank you all for your answers I guess its time to go see the dealer. {black}

@jorge did you ever get an answer? Mine is doing exactly this replaced the RF hub and it still will not start and says key fob not detected.
