Grinding/popping

  • I have an 03 toyota celica gt 4speed. It has a grinding/popping noise from the front when turing hard right and moving. No side to side or up and down play. It made the noise earlier and after straightning the car out, it started to make clicking/ clunking noise only over bumps for 1/2 mile then went away. I replace the cv axles, struts, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, wheel bearings, and both inner and outer tie rods winter of 2020. I did reuse the cv axle intermediate shaft carrier bearing since I couldn't find another one at the time. Do you have any ideas or clues what it might be?

There is no play in my lower ball joints at all. Ive constantly been checking for play for the last year. Only have been able to reproduce the noise with the suspension and steering system loaded, turned and moving

Motor mounts then

Could you explain why you think its my motor mounts?

because worn mounts can be noisy
