As the title says
i bought a Frankencivic that was b18 swapped from a GS Integra, this includes the tranny afaik. I was under the impression that the car just needs a tune or that the linkages are shot but the more I dig, I’m thinking that it could be where the car idles and the amount of pressure on the gas peddle needed to pick up the rpm’s enough to engage in to first. Anything helps, I’m doing all the work myself
please follow all the instructions. Thanks.

Heard that;
2000 Honda Civic EX coupe, body has about 200k miles but the engine has 2k miles, stick shift, being a swapped b18b the car throws a bunch of irrelevant codes but if needed I can dig deeper. This is a car I own already, I knew it was a project when I got it so I’m smoothing the rough edges before I possibly swap with someone.
A little more info, when the car is off, getting in to first or fifth is no issue, from neutral with the car on however it’s a struggle. May be worth noting that shifting in to second is very jerky.
ALL the instructions. I still don't know if it's a manual or automatic transmission
